The course duration is 3 years,
(6 semesters) of which 2 1/2 years (5 Semesters) is theoretical class room training with practical training followed by
last 6month (VI Semester)
On Job Training in Approved Maintenance Orginasation(AMO)

Pattern : Full time

Age
Atleast 16 years for enrollment.

Prerequisites
• The minimum qualification is pass in Higher Secondary / PUC, 10+2 with Math’s, Physics with a minimum of 50% aggregate of any recognized University Board or any qualification recognized as equivalent by D.G.C.A. Government of India.
• A pass in Studentship examination of A.M.Ae.S.I. Or A.M.I.E. or any other equivalent exam.
• A pass in a 3 year Engineering Diploma Course of any good recognized Polytechnic with a minimum of 50%
.
DGCA Exam
The AME License Examination for Paper I, II and III will be conducted by DGCA thrice a year. The first one in the month of February, the second one in the month of June and the third one in the month of October every year.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING (AME)

The only Academy that has approval by DGCA in all Streams and its own Heavy Aircraft with Jet Engines and Helicoptor for Training in Various Streams.


The Maintenance Engineers of the Aviation Industry are one of the most elite groups of individuals who not only draw a very fat salary package but they are also respected for their professionalism, dedication & hard work throughout the world. Not only do they get respect in India but also they are at very high demand globally.

This branch of Engineering falls among a very few privileged groups where people after gathering sufficient amount of experience can decide as to how much they should be paid. With the changing trends of time the “Boom in the Aviation Industry” is witnessing nowadays it has become a very lucrative & challenging profession for young, bright talents who are willing to work hard to make it big.

This is only the Engineering Industry where wide scope to acquire intra-branch knowledge is available.

Infrastructure
No efforts have been spared to lay the infrastructure for this prestigious course on a second base. Apart from the lecture halls for theory classes, a complete workshop exists with spacious rooms which house the various requisite laboratories provided with appropriate assemblies and components, spares and test equipment’s, working models and demonstration items, charts and diagrams, together with Audio Visual aids offering latest documentation along with computer knowledge and skills.

A team of qualified and experienced teaching staff. headed by Chief Instructor will impart the training. Before applying for admission, the applicants are advised to carefully read the prospectus to ensure compliance of their educational eligibility and financial liabilities.

Academy Exam
At the end of each semester, examination will be conducted by the College.

Actual flying exposure is given to students for better understanding of systems.

AMAeSI

Students of AME course can also appear and qualify as AMAeSI (Associate Membership of Aeronautical Society of India) which is fully recognised by Government of India / State Government / Union Public Service Commission (U.P.S.C.) / G.A.T.E. for M.Tech admission / Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., (H.A.L.) / Indian Airlines / Air India / B.H.E.L. / D.R.D.O. / N.A.L. / I.A.F. / Coast Guard / Airline Industries etc. / Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi / Madras Institute of Technology and many other Government, Public and Private sector as equivalent to B.E / B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering).

Course Structure

Theoretical classes followed by practicals on workshop practices, laboratory procedures, calibration, testing and other instrumentation tests as well as ground running and servicing of aircraft engines, airframes and systems.

Infrastructure
The Institute possesses the entire necessary infrastructure with a large fleet of aircrafts, adequate buildings and well equipped laboratories, advanced instruments, updated software and a spacious library with many volumes.

Attendance
It is mandatory for a student to put in a minimum of 80% attendance in every semester to be eligible to sit for exam, and promotion to the next semester. The minimum pass marks in any test or examination will be 70%.

Industrial Tours
Industrial tours to establish aviation oriented organization and workshop are arranged to improve the working knowledge of the students to organizations like, Air India, India Airlines, HAL, DRDL and major Instrument Labs.

Scope of Approval by DGCA
Flytech Aviation Academy is approved by DGCA vide Letter No. 5-1194/95- AI (2) Dated 23.11.95. On satisfactory completion of the Institutional Training the students are issued with a Provisional Certificate to this effect, together with a progress card with their photographs also affixed. This record sheet among others gives the detailed particulars of the marks obtained in each subject in the semester examination, attendance percentages etc.

The students on successful completion of the whole course including OJT - will be awarded a Course Completion Certificate by the college.
